As the successor to the VVing V3 (HERE there's a test), the new Vayu Eos Wing is set to enter the race from the 2024 season. Compared to its sister model, the Eos has a significantly smaller wingspan - the 5.0 model has a wingspan of just under 20 centimetres. Manufacturer Vayu wants to have given the Eos a stiff construction in the centre area, which should ensure a direct ride and good control in gusts. The wingtips are then significantly thinned out to keep the swing mass as small as possible during rotations and to give the wing a high degree of agility and manoeuvring potential.
When it comes to the grip system, Vayu favours maximum freedom. The Wing is equipped with two fixed carbon grips as standard, but alternatively both soft handles and a continuous carbon boom can be fitted. The Vayu Eos Wing will be available from the end of April 2024 in sizes 3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5/5.0/5.5 and 6.0 square metres. The Wing is also available in three colour combinations. You will soon be able to find out how the Eos rides here on the website - we have already been able to test drive a test model extensively.
