NeilPryde has just launched the Fly II, an update of its all-round wing, and now the manufacturer is following up with a second model. This new design is said to have a slightly smaller wingspan and has been optimised primarily for freestyle and downwind. However, the most striking difference is probably the handle system, because unlike the Fly II, the Firefly uses a continuous boom made of carbon fibre. This remains firmly attached to the wing and therefore does not need to be mounted. Understandably, the wing's bag has to be a little longer than that of other suppliers.
However, the Firefly is by no means just a wing for experienced wingfoilers, but thanks to its good lift and easy handling it should also be of interest to beginners and schools. The new product should also be of interest to people of smaller stature thanks to its compact wingspan. You will soon be able to read here how the new NeilPryde wings ride - both the Fly II and the NeilPryde Firefly are already waiting to be tested in our test cellar.
