The Samba from Ensis is a board on which you can learn both windsurfing and wingsurfing and which is also suitable as a SUP. Colour markings on the EVA deck are designed to help you learn quickly.

Ensis has so far been better known for its wing and foil boards, but now the Swiss company is launching an all-round training board on the market. The Samba is said to be ideal for windsurfing as well as for first rides with the wing and can also be used as a SUP when there is no wind at all. The design of the large EVA deck is striking: special markings are intended to make it easier for beginners to get their feet right on the board.

"The Ensis Samba has been designed specifically for schools and hire centres," explains the manufacturer in a press release. "If you're taking your first steps in wingsurfing or just want to freeride on your lake, the wide and stable shape of the Samba will let you explore the water in comfort," they promise.

The Ensis Samba comes in four sizes from 130 to 230 litres, with the 130 being ideal for children. The equipment includes two fins and a daggerboard, and there are carrying loops at the tail and bow. "The robust fibreglass construction is designed for durability," promises the manufacturer.

  • Available sizes: 130, 150, 180, 200, 230
