The new Duotone Slick SLS model is based on a boom system that can be fixed to the centre strut before inflation. The manufacturer now offers a carbon boom with a reduced 25-millimetre diameter. As usual, the diameter specification here also refers to the bare tube, without the coating.
The thin carbon boom is designed to further improve the handling of the wing and make it more intuitive. The Miniboom Platinum SLS should offer advantages, especially for the upcoming cold season and wingsurfing with gloves, as team rider Henning Nockel reveals:

The 125 centimetre long boom is said to weigh only 330 grams, for all sizes of the Duotone Slick Wing ( HERE there's a test) and costs 239 euros.
