Even a first glance at the new Vayu V3 reveals that the Wing has been significantly revised. The predecessor model V2 ( HERE there's a test) entered the race with a split boom and therefore a slightly higher weight. The German manufacturer claims to have worked on the handling in particular. The Vayu V3 now comes with mini booms, with the front boom being slightly longer than the rear boom. This should still allow the hands to be moved sideways, so that everyone should be able to find the right grip position. In addition, the Wing can be ridden with both firm grips (carbon!) and soft grips - both variants are included in the scope of delivery. According to the manufacturer, the overall weight of the Wing has also been significantly reduced thanks to the new grip system. For example, the size of 4.0 square metres should scratch the 2-kilo sound barrier.
We show you the most striking changes to the Vayu V3 compared to its predecessor in the following picture gallery. Take a look!
Vayu V3 with a larger target group:
Thanks to these changes, the new Vayu V3 should have a significantly larger target group and not only score points as a powerful freeride wing, but also offer more potential for use in waves and as a light manoeuvring and freestyle wing. The new model will be available in six sizes (3.5/4.0/4.5/5.0/5.5 and 6.0) and in three colour variants. The different sizes are priced between 959 and 1099 euros.
You will soon be able to read here on our website whether the changes are effective. We have already been able to ride a test model several times. And we don't want to withhold the product clip for the new model from you either:
