The installation of footstrap plugs on inflatable wingboards is technically quite complex - so it's no wonder that many inflatables are sold without plugs for the installation of footstraps and are therefore not suitable for use with inflatable wingboards."strapless" must be surfed.
This has also been the case with the Naish Hover Inflatable Wingboard ( HERE there's a test of the board), but now this shortcoming is said to have been rectified.
While the underlying shape of the board is said to have remained unchanged, the manufacturer claims to have revised a few details: For example, the model has apparently been given a larger carbon plate for mounting the foil as well as an improved carry bag for transport. Furthermore, the Hover Inflatable will now also be available in an 80-litre version. This means that there are now four sizes available with 80/100/135 and 170 litres, which cost between 1199 and 1399 euros.
