It also functioned as a children's play island and was generously lent to friends. Endurance test means scrubbing time. After a year, we could recognise a few scratches in the bow area (1), which are of no significance. The base was dirty (2) - but the visual problem was quickly rectified with washing-up liquid - and we discovered small scratches on the edges. But more importantly, the edge seams still looked like new (3). If you don't leave your Grand Tour out in the summer sun for days on end and store it unrolled in winter, you will enjoy it for many years to come.

Grand Tour The design and price were convincing - the ideal tourer for all requirements. But does the quality of a small Austrian company stand up to the demands of an endurance test?
