The board once again impresses in the test with its outstanding tipping stability, almost like a boat with a keel - which is mainly due to the lower position compared to inflatables. Assembled in the correct position and sequence, the parts are put together quite quickly and without tools on the shore using the large knurled screws.
The fin is simply inserted from the top just before entering the water and conveniently slides up when it touches the bottom. In the water, the total weight is slightly less noticeable, with more paddle pressure the displacement bow cuts through the water beautifully and visually conveys a smooth, calm glide. The board clearly favours smooth water. The black "test" bomber made of recyclable thermoplastic (robust, but also heavier than laminated boards - but Croslake offers wheels that can be mounted on the tail) was still in pre-production, the final weight will follow on the website. A three-part 11-footer is already in the starting blocks.
PLUS: Robust, no pumping required, tilt-stable, very directional stability
