Touring board with a sporty touch: The Indiana 12'6" in the narrow touring version is a classic shape and relatively stable. It's quick to ride on tour and can turn on the spot.

Classic touring shape without a hollowed-out deck. The hull is made of a high-quality carbon fibreglass laminate and is decorated with a light wood veneer. The large deck pad with a fine structure ends in a kick pad at the rear. A solid handle is integrated in the centre, which is easy to grip. The board has roughly the same thickness from the tail to the standing position, then the bow becomes more voluminous, which looks like a small step from the side view. This combines a low stance position with sufficient safety volume in the bow. This works perfectly in practice, the standing position is also just above the surface of the water at just over 80 kilos.

The board is agile in the water, but finds a small stop around the longitudinal axis. However, it remains a shape for more experienced riders. The luggage is safely stowed on the voluminous nose, the board lies in the water at about handle height with its entire length in the standing position. The bow cuts easily through the water and splits the waves to the right and left, nothing comes over. Standing one foot further back, the bow lifts significantly and thus offers reserves for choppier waters. With little paddle pressure, the Indiana glides light-footedly and, with a little pressure, can be held for a long time even at very fast touring speeds. It turns well in the crosbow turn, and if you move backwards with one foot approximately to the position of the luggage net, the bow lifts out of the water and it can be turned almost on the spot.

The Indiana conveys a very noble touring feeling with a lot of nature feeling, with which one would like to explore unknown waters. The high-quality fin keeps the board well on course so that you can take many strokes on one side without having to take too many serpentine lines.

Conclusion on the Indiana Touring S Carbon/Wood 12'6" x 27.5":

A sporty, agile-looking board for people up to around 85kg who are looking for an agile feel and sufficient safety.
