The ION Seek Amp is available in several versions with thicknesses of 3/2, 4/3, 5/4 and even as a winter neo with 6/5mm and integrated bonnet - with either a back zip (BZ) or front zip (FZ). We tried out the 5/4 BZ and 4/3 FZ models.

The extremely stretchy material is striking: when putting it on, however, this requires a little more effort in conjunction with the rather tight cuffs on the arms and legs, you don't slip in easily. Once you're in, however, the Neo moulds beautifully to the contours of your body. A large and soft plush material has been incorporated on the entire inside, which contributes to the high wearing comfort. A dip in the North Sea, which was seven degrees centigrade at the time of testing, revealed that the seams and seams seal well and that the Neo hardly allows any water in thanks to its good fit.

Taped seams and large areas of plush material are standard on the ION Seek Amp.Taped seams and large areas of plush material are standard on the ION Seek Amp.

Thin additional pads have been incorporated into the shin area of the 5/4 BZ, which at least won't cause any damage in the event of involuntary contact with the fin or foil.

Conclusion: Both ION Seek Amp Neos impress with good features and great flex - with a freedom of movement that will satisfy even snake riders. The cuffs on the legs and the overall fit are comparatively narrow - it's best to try them on in your favourite shop. Prices range between 439.99 and 459.99 euros.
