The PPC M1 Wing is said to offer new standards in controllability and performance thanks to its particularly stiff Dyneema construction.

The basic principle is not entirely new and has already been used by wings made of aluminium material such as the RRD Gold , Vayu Aura X or the Duotone Unit DLab known: By using a stiff material that can be inflated at high pressure, these wings should not only be light, but above all dimensionally stable over a wide wind range and therefore efficient and powerful.

However, the designers did not give the PPC M1 Wing an aluminium body, but a base frame made of equally solid aluminium.Dyneema cuben fibres, which was previously frequently used in racing sailboats. This material should set new standards in terms of strength and durability and make it possible to construct front tubes and centre chutes with smaller diameters without them becoming too soft. The makers at PPC have also thought about the flying cloth, where a non-stretch, waxed cloth is to be used. This was also inspired by the racing yachts from the America's Cup.

Equipped in this way, the PPC M1 Wing is primarily intended to appeal to ambitious wingfoilers who are looking for a wing with maximum control and high speed potential. The M1 is available in three sizes, with 4.0/5.0 and 6.0 square metres. However, the high-end material also has its price: although the wing is not in the range of the aforementioned Aluula wings, it is also no bargain at prices between 1499 and 1699 euros.
