2022 Goya Nitro 3: Already on its way to the surf test camp
In the wave segment, Goya traditionally sticks to its guns and doesn't mess around. While other brands have tended to reduce their range in this area, Goya is now launching a third wave board line - the Nitro 3 - after the Custom 3 thruster board and the Custom 4 four-fin.

Significantly shorter than the Custom 4, for example, and with a wider tail section, the Nitro 3 is designed to perform particularly well in conditions with small, unpressurised waves. Sounds like a fun board for spring days on the North and Baltic Seas. A board is already on its way to us, and we will be presenting the new product in detail in a test in one of the upcoming surf issues. We are excited.

The thruster concept is available in three sizes with 89, 98 and 108 litres and is manufactured in a double sandwich construction.
"With no other model," reports team rider Marcilio Browne, "have we built more prototypes than with the Nitro. Achieving a fast, loose ride was easy, but reconciling this with good turning characteristics was a lot of work. The result is a board that motivates me to get out on the water, especially in small waves. I glide early, have speed when riding off and can do real frontside turns and wave moves with it," says Browne, describing the concept. The price of the Nitro 3 is 2590 euros.
