Because transverse beds are often provided in many camper vans for reasons of space, things can get a bit cramped if you are over 1.85 metres tall. The solution is the "XXL Sleep" module, a rear extension for typical campervans such as the Citroen Jumper or the Fiat Ducato, with which the interior of buses of lengths L1-L3 and height H2 can be considerably extended. The XXL Sleep kit extends the rear of the vehicle by the length of the rear doors.
The basic assembly of the kit - which consists of a support system with rear walls, base plate, tarpaulins with windows and a corresponding tensioning device - is carried out in a specialised workshop, after which the system can be assembled and disassembled within 15 minutes. The scope of delivery also includes the additional cushions required for the longer bed.
Due to the set-up time, the rear extension should be particularly useful if you are planning to stay in one place for a longer period of time and only in regions where the temperatures do not drop too low at night, as the walls are of course not insulated and only consist of a tarpaulin. However, the old transverse bed in the camper van can of course still be used for short overnight stops when travelling through.
