On land: The comparatively wide nose and tail sections are striking, resulting in a rather stretched outline. Thanks to the slightly cambered (domed) deck, you can also stand very comfortably in a three-loop set-up, and there is also a moderate freeride position for accelerating. The equipment includes comfortable straps and proper pads. The glued-on design badge is sometimes a little slippery.
On the water: The F2 Vento is also one of the most balanced boards in the group and shows no real weaknesses in any discipline. The Vento planes very well and, when powered up, runs freely and quickly over the chop. You never have the feeling that something could get out of control, even with less skill. Even with a small sail and full speed, the F2 always keeps the nose down and remains very easy to control, even for intermediates. When jibing, the Vento is particularly suited to medium and wide jibing radii, then the rails grip very securely. The board is forgiving of the occasional misstep for jibe students, and it is also quite easy to carry speed through the turn. However, in order to push the board into tight radii, you have to reduce the speed considerably and push comparatively hard, then the F2 masters this hurdle too.
