On land: Compared to the previous year, the Rodeo has become slightly more voluminous at the rear. Overall, the outline is still very reminiscent of the previous models. Our test board was not manufactured in "normal" series production due to time constraints. We are therefore unable to judge whether the significantly narrower than usual plug spacing of 14.5 centimetres also affects the series. A problem that Bigfoots can normally solve by using holes that do not belong together. However, you won't find any additional plugs on the F2, which means that in principle you can't use the board with thick shoes. What a pity! Unfortunately, the design in the underwater hull also came loose after just two hours on the water. This is also not normally standard.
On the water: Despite a few small changes, the shape still rocks this year: the board immediately converts gusts into a lot of speed, hangs lightly and lively on the foot on the straights and immediately encourages you to jump off. When switching to switch, the board holds its speed very well and even though some (lightweight) testers found the new Rodeo to be a little bulkier and bigger than last year's model, the board is one of the easiest boards for stronger surfers to pop out of the water. In the air, the board looks very compact and the Rodeo is also a force to be reckoned with when sliding, sliding quickly and radically through spocks, flakas and other moves - the best prerequisites for attempting double moves. Ambitious freestylers will get over the fact that the 2013 Rodeo, like almost all freestyle boards, is still not recommended for planing manoeuvres on the rail, and even in small onshore waves you will find better suited boards because they are easier to turn.
