Women's suits for cold days at a glance
No wind, no problem. Our testers have also started the Neo practical test and have already completed countless wash cycles with spinning. At a water temperature of four to five degrees, any potential leaks are detected immediately.

Munich, zero degrees, driving snow. Another traffic jam at the end of the A95 motorway due to day skiers.

Munich, water temperature: 4 - 5 degrees. Free ride into the wave. At least with the right clothing. The best conditions to try out the thickest winter neos for 2023/24.

We already carried out the test at the beginning of the year, but all models will go into the next winter season unchanged!

The best winter wetsuits for women in the test

We requested and extensively tested six women's suits of the thickest type "6/5 with bonnet".

These women's winter sneakers were included in the test:

The external conditions were similar to those often encountered in winter windsurfing: Water temperature in the low single digits, air temperature down to freezing point.

The suits were assessed in terms of donning and doffing, comfort, freedom of movement and above all, of course, thermal insulation in the water and in the air. The manufacturers use differently designed entry openings and, above all, very different inner linings.

The "Dryrobe", the thick thermal coat for before, after and in between, also proved particularly useful in the prevailing test conditions. You can read our assessment here!
