Finding the right surfing suit for your offspring can sometimes be like an odyssey. Manufacturers' size specifications vary considerably, so if you want to order the right size - as we did for our two test subjects Emilia and Nikolaj - you might have to order size EU 6, EU 8, 132 or S for a 1.30 metre tall girl. Although all manufacturers offer size charts on their websites to help you decide, how the respective neo will turn out in practice is another matter. Our observation after comparing a dozen children's neos from different manufacturers: The length specifications usually fit well, but how wide or tight a cut turns out varies considerably more. We would have liked to have presented neos from Billabong and Roxy as part of this comparison, but unfortunately the suits from these surfing labels were not available. ION referred to the upcoming revision of the children's neos for the 2019 season and did not want to take part in the test. Nevertheless, there should be something suitable for every requirement, body type and budget in this comparison group.
