In the 160-210 and 200-250 lengths, F2 uses a 27 mm diameter for its fork trees. At 2.40 kilos, the 160-210 length we tested (579 euros) is within the normal range. The front and rear end are tried and tested components from the manufacturer Aeron. Thanks to an integrated adapter, the F2 Team Pro Carbon fits both RDM masts and masts with a standard diameter (Sdm). The carbon fork has no other weaknesses in terms of equipment: The head piece is simple and functional, the end piece is protected against stone contact with rubber buffers - the double pins of the adjustment system also appear to be of good quality and solid. In use on the water, the fork appeared sufficiently stiff so that you can utilise the full adjustment range with freemove or freeride sails. Compared to other fork models, however, the end piece of the F2 is quite narrow - bulbous sails tend to rest against the fork.
surf conclusion:
With the Team Pro Carbon, F2 offers a carbon fork that is absolutely competitive in terms of features and stiffness and is also very attractively priced.
