When trimmed to the marking point, the Goya Mark 2 shows a lot of loose leech in the leech, but just as much profile depth in the boom area and below. With a slight pull on the clew, you pull the sail so far that it does not touch the boom completely. The soft profile can also be pumped well and it has a lot of pull that you can feel, which translates well into speed in light and medium planing winds. The sail is very easy to put down on the deck. The slight load changes between the front and rear hand are easy to control and not critical, but it is not as inherently stable as a Severne Turbo over the board.
As the wind continues to increase, the pull on both hands also increases quite evenly - which you can counter with weight and strength and thus accelerate the sail and board further and further. A good deal: the more effort you put in, the more the sail gives you back. The pressure point hardly moves in the appropriate wind range. The camber rotates well in the jibe, with the profile travelling a long way, but this is dampened well in the comparatively softer profile. And even if you can hardly hear the jibe - you will certainly not be overlooked with the highlighter-coloured sail.
