It's been a while since the last freestyle sail test, so it was all the more exciting for us to compare the latest models on the Baltic Sea. We included sails from six brands in the 4.8 square metre size. To kick off the test, we caught a pretty windy day at the Baltic spot Großenbrode.

When testing, we pay attention to the criteria of planing, control, handling, neutrality when ducking and the aspect of pop. Each tester keeps the board and boom, only the sails are swapped. In this way, the differences between the freestyle sails quickly become clear. At the end of the session, we summarise all the (interim) results so that no impressions are lost.
